Ah Yes – I remember it Well!

Duetting

On Tuesday 13th August, a Summer Afternoon Tea was served at Merrow. The Hall was beautifully decorated. Sandwiches and delicious cakes were presented to the guests on fine china. The China Collection was collected by Margaret Hills who preserves it from year to year.

After the cakes came the strawberries and cream – if people still had room for them!

Entertainment was also provided. Gentle background music by Gillian Varley followed by some surprise entries. Derek and Gillian sung a duet from 2Gigi – ' Ah Yes – I remember it well' and Mavis and Gillian played a duet by Diabelli.

An great afternoon was had by all. And many thanks go to the team who did all the hard work planning and organizing it.
