Mrs Julie Wallis works part-time as our Church Lettings Administrator and handles all our bookings. Julie can give you information on rates, facilities, regulations and arrangements.
Her work days are usually Mondays (for 3 hrs) and Wednesdays (for 3 hrs).
Merrow Church Hall has been a popular venue for Children's parties for many years. Currently, it is possible to hire the Hall on Saturday afternoons from 2.30pm onwards. (Full days may be possible during School holidays and at other times – please check with Julie Wallis, the Lettings Administrator who will be able to advise you).
All party hires include the Hall and Lounge area, use of the kitchen and access to the garden. Bouncy Castles and Soccer parties have frequently been held in the Hall.
The charge for a hire of up to 4 hrs is £75 (as at September 2021). Additional hours are charged at £20 per hour. In our experience, it has been found that a 4 hr hire allows sufficient time for an enjoyable party (which is the aim) plus the mundane setup and clearing up involved with parties!

It is possible to hire the room/s on a regular basis at Merrow – whether for a few weeks or a more permanent basis. Merrow has been very fortunate in having many hirers who have been at the Church for many years now – please see the Current hirers list for details.
Hire rates would be negotiated when the contract was established.
