Merrow's cross

In the sanctuary, there is a Silver Cross which was specifically made for the Church's dedication on the 1st November 1968. The cross was made by a local craftsman, Mr Freilander, and had been made from small pieces of silver such as jewellery, teaspoons, thimbles, trinket boxes and pens given by the members of the congregation. It represented the faith and generosity of the Merrow Society which enabled the Church to be built.
