Allergy Awareness Week, 20 to 26 April
have a confirmed allergy.
Allergy affects millions of people across the UK. Despite this, many still struggle to recognise the symptoms or access the
support they need. As a result, many people live with allergy symptoms for years without understanding what is causing them or how to manage them safely.
The charity Allergy UK is promoting Allergy Awareness Week, with their campaign “I Wish I Knew”, shining a light on a simple but powerful message: diagnosis matters. Recognising that symptoms may be linked to allergy and seeking a diagnosis is the first step to accessing the right care and taking control.

Surrey County Council Tree and Hedgerow Planting
Surrey County Council has planted over 832,000 trees as part of the Council’s 1.2 million tree strategy one for every resident in Surrey!
Since 2020 charities and community groups, schools and churches have been helping to plant hedgerows, single trees, copses and community orchards on their land.
If you are interested in planting, the Tree Planting and Establishment Team can offer a site visit and consultation to assess viability of tree planting. No project is too big or too small so do get in touch if you would like further information.
You can either fill in this link or email the team at trees@surreycc.gov.uk if you have any questions.
