VE Day Celebrations

Britain will host a four-day celebration of the 80th anniversary of VE Day, including a flypast, concert and a service at Westminster Abbey from Bank Holiday Monday on 5 May until Thursday 8 May 2025.

VE Day, or Victory in Europe Day, commemorates the end of World War Two in Europe.

Here in Surrey, towns, villages and local attractions are set to join in the celebrations and carry them on through to Surrey Day on Saturday 10 May.
