The Community Garden hosted by Merrow was awarded a 'Love where you Live' award from the Squires Garden Centre. The plaque was presented by Chris Price (manager of the West Horsley branch of Squire's) on the 29th August.

As you will see, a lot of people came to see the award being presented. The award of £500 has been used to purchase a taller raised, plants and compost.

Since starting the Community Garden in January, it has been well used by locals, the local school and church members. It has also become a topic of conversation by all who walk past.
