Paul Tabraham

Greetings,

I offer you a very warm welcome to Merrow Methodist Church.  I'm Paul Tabraham, and began as minister here at Merrow in September 2026.  Prior to moving to the Guildford area I was minister in Eastbourne for twelve years, but lived in Guildford some years ago – so fortunately not everything is new to me!

Methodists are known for being 'Friends of All and Enemies of None' and our hope at Merrow is that you will find us an inclusive, welcoming space for people of all ages, backgrounds and nationalities.  We seek to be a church which is a real part of our local community, and always enjoy meeting new people and making new friendships.  We believe we are called to love God and one another, and we try to do that at Merrow in our worship together, in our fellowship and friendship activities, and in our mission to the wider world.  

Whether you would like to attend worship or one of the church groups, or learn more about the church, please do get in contact with me or with one of the church stewards.  You might have a request for prayer or conversation, to discuss a baptism, wedding or funeral, or be looking for a place to explore faith further – we'd be delighted to hear from you.
