Church Anniversary

With the Cake

On Sunday 26th June, Merrow held its Church Anniversary to celebrate 67 years of worship at Bushy Hill. The service was led by Rev. Darlene McCarley – a previous minister at Merrow and was followed by a buffet lunch. The service also included violin and saxophone music by Catherine and Ollie (two Guildford Scouts) who had previously assisted with a tea party held in our Church Hall earlier in the year.

No celebration can be held without a cake – and the cake has to be cut! Merrow invited John Allman to do the honours as a thank you for his many years of faithful service to the Church.
