AFC 154th Birthday

About to cut the cake!

On 9th July, a special service was held at Merrow to help celebrate AFC's 154th birthday. During the service, we heard how the charity (then known as NCH – National Children's Home) began by helping homeless children on the streets at Waterloo and then we heard about the vital work that AFC is still carrying out today. It's aim is to ensure that the 'star in every child shines out'.

Our young people finished the celebration by cutting the cake – which was greatly enjoyed by all. £300 (incl Gift Aid) was raised for AFC from the service.
