On Saturday 2nd August, a family picnic was held at the Church as part of our 70th Anniversary celebrations. Despite the absolutely wonderful summer that has been experienced so far, there had been some 'doubt' whether the weather (no pun intended) would hold to enable us to enjoy the garden.

We shouldn't have worried – the sun came out and the rain stayed off – and everyone enjoyed a fun picnic in the garden.

Everyone enjoyed the time of fellowship with each other and the time in the garden – which is something that is not often done as we are all 'too busy'. We also enjoyed the Ghanaian food provided by Ama.
