Leadership

Our minister Rev Alan Thorpe joined us at the beginning of January 2011. He is assisted in her work by three church stewards, Suzanne Burnham, Lyn McKay and Helen Belsham.

We have a strong team of worship stewards and worship leaders.
-
Ken Mills represents us at Circuit level as a circuit steward.

The secretaries of the pastoral committee and property committee take responsibility for these aspects of church life.

Jackie Ring, our church administrator, deals with bookings.

There is a fortnightly house-group and a regular class meeting.
-
Sunday School leaders meet regularly to plan activities for Sunday School and the monthly children’s club.
-
Women’s Fellowship and the monthly meeting for ladies are led by church members.
-
Members lead the mother and toddler club and the ecumenical church luncheon club which serve the local community.
-
Members take turns at leading the monthly early prayer time before Sunday worship and groups pray weekly for the work of the church.
